As announced back on December 10, 2020, by BC’s Chief Public Health Officer, Bonnie Henry:
“…These have been the most tragic days we’ve had yet, we’ve had an additional 28 people die from Covid-19, bringing the total number of people who’ve died in British Columbia to 587, and all but two of these people are elders and seniors who were in long-term care homes, in various places across B.C…”
This was back in the “thick” of the storm, on December 10, 2020.
Population of BC province: 5,145,851
Yes, a population of well over FIVE MILLION people. At the time of this announcement–10 months into the so-called pandemic–585 elders, most with pre-existing chronic and debilitating heath conditions (such as advanced diabetes, pneumonia, heart/kidney/liver failure, etc.), succumbed on the record to “Covid-related” death.
By this time, all Covid protocols short of curfews were in effect, including lockdowns and mandatory closings, mandatory mask, enforced social spacing, shutdowns, etc.
Covid Critical Canada on fb completely throttled but for the record (and we’d love your company):https://www.facebook.com/groups/384363842923243
Clearly we are in for the fight of our lifetimes.
