Was the AIDS virus inadvertently transferred to humans through the Intensified Smallpox Eradication Program that was conducted in sub-Saharan Africa in the late 1960s and through most of the 1970s?
That is the hypothesis of this research paper authored by D. Siefkes, accepted and published April 9, 1993.
